Record-breaking car show funds projects


The SJC Rotary Car Show broke new records as more than 2,000 visitors spent Saturday, February 12th viewing around 400 new, classic cars, trucks, hot rods.


More than $52,000 was generated that will go to fund local and international projects of San Juan Capistrano Rotary. A few of those are:

  • Camp Pendleton Marine Families

  • Family Assistance Ministries

  • The Shea Therapeutic Riding Center

  • Capistrano Valley Boys & Girls Club

  • Boy Scouts and Girls Scouts in SJC

  • Great Opportunities

  • Marco Forster Students running in the L.A. Marathon

  • Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA)

  • Shoes for Souls for disadvantaged kids in Tijuana

  • Thanksgiving Meals for Families in Need

  • Santa’s visit for kids in San Juan Capistrano

  • Corazón House Build in Mexico

  • Dental and Eye Clinics in Mexico

  • English as a Second Language courses

  • CREER
