SJC Rotary was awarded the Community Service Organization of the Year by the city of San Juan Capistrano for its numerous community service projects including Thanksgiving baskets for local and Marine families, Christmas Santa for 600 local children, RYLA camp for youth, school scholarships and support of FAM (Family Assistance Ministries, Boys & Girls Club. Additionally, the Scout Hut, owned by the club, supports local scouting and also ESL classes.
The club is funded by donations of members as well as by the proceeds of two major fundraising events: The Annual Car Show (Feb 12, 2022) and the club's golf tournament later in the spring.
